Bonding ("we", "our", or "us") is a platform that connects users with paid companions (Buddies) for audio calls, video calls, and text chat. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

Phone Number — used for login via OTP. We do not share this with other users.
Display Name — shown to Buddies during calls and chats.
Payment Information — processed securely via Cashfree. We do not store card or UPI details.
Call & Chat Data — duration, type, and billing records are stored for billing accuracy.
Device Token (FCM) — used to send call and message notifications to your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate you via phone OTP
To process wallet recharges and call billing
To send you incoming call and message notifications
To display your name to Buddies during sessions
To maintain your call history and wallet balance

3. Data Sharing

Cashfree — for secure payment processing
Agora — for real-time audio/video call infrastructure
Firebase (Google) — for authentication, database, and notifications

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

5. Security

All data is stored on Firebase with role-based Firestore security rules. Payments are verified server-side via Cashfree signature verification. We do not store raw payment credentials.

6. Children's Privacy

Bonding is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
